Stephen was born in the city of Kingsford, MI. Upon graduating from high school, Steve enlisted in the military where he spent 9 years in Engineering and Combat Engineers. After his discharge, Steve attended college then entered the law enforcement field outside Sacramento, California.
Later Steve took a position as a peace officer in Niagara Falls, New York, where he met his future wife, Sharon. In getting to know her, they talked many times about her savior Jesus Christ. Steve asked the Lord into his life, and they married and were eventually led back to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
During the following years, his experiences and acquaintances helped him grow in faith and service to Christ. This growth included working at turning mistakes into victories and weaknesses into strengths, all for the honor and glory to God.
Qualities important to Steve that he wishes to help influence other men and young men to embrace are the duties and responsibilities of being strong in character, integrity, and leadership; having strength and power under control, patience and wisdom in influencing others, serving with perseverance, quietness and humility, and always seeking God’s will.
