Our philosophy of ministry is centered on the idea presented in 2 Corinthians 5:17-21, that God has given us the ministry of reconciliation and is making His appeal through us. Through our times of counseling and instruction, we offer the truths of God’s Word in an effort to lead them to a reconciliation with God and their family. Ephesians 4:15 further guides our philosophy, as we speak these truths in the context of a loving relationship. Ministry Apprenticeship
Our Ministry Apprenticeship program is an opportunity for you to pursue life change within a disciple making community. Being an apprentice at Victory will help to build into your life the character and competence necessary to serve God in any future ministry. Experience on the job training in ministry skills accompanied by loving accountability from staff mentors. Relationships with other apprentices will provide encouragement and sharpening. Victory is truly a life-on-life experience for both staff and apprentices. With the daily engagement of your heart to their hearts, you will hold kids to boundaries, love when a teenager least expects it, and offer biblical wisdom in your words and actions.
Facilities Manager/Program Staff
The Facilities Manager oversees the development and maintenance of the Victory Academy campus structures, grounds and equipment to allow the ministry to complete its mission. The position includes discipleship and mentoring opportunities directly with students through the work program and house manager respite.
To be successful as Victory’s Facilities Manager, you should possess a strong biblical worldview that translates into a humble life pursuit of Christlikeness. You should serve those you lead, pursuing Christ’s biblical servant leadership model and provide stability and structure in an environment that requires flexibility and personal sacrifice.
Apprentices can continue college classes while doing ministry.
