Admissions Process
It is very important to us that you fully understand our enrollment process. We strive for transparency and clarity. Please reach out with any questions or concerns along the way.
Our step-by-step approach to admissions begins with a conversation to determine how we can best help in your family’s situation.
Here is how the process works:
- Please fill out the inquiry form below, and we will contact you to schedule a phone consultation.
- During this consultation, we will work together to determine whether or not Victory is right for your family and is something you want to pursue.
- We will send you an application.
- Once we receive your application, our enrollment staff will thoroughly review it in a timely manner.
- We will notify you of the enrollment status, once a decision is made regarding your application.
- We will work with you to prepare your family for the transition to our program.
A few important conditions unique to our program:
- Our program is designed for students in grades 7-12.
- Students who are significantly outside of their expected grade placement may be considered on a case-by-case basis. In such situations, admissions staff may request additional academic records, educational evaluations, or special education documentation to determine whether the student can successfully participate in the program.
- Because of our small staff size and program structure, we are able to provide only limited academic, behavioral or social-emotional support. We do not employ special education teachers, behavioral intervention specialists, paraprofessionals, therapists, or other personnel typically required to implement intensive educational or behavioral plans.
- Students must be able to participate safely and successfully in the small-group classroom environment, physical education, outdoor activities, and wilderness experiences. Because of the physical demands of these activities and the staffing resources available, applicants must be able to participate in these program elements without specialized physical assistance, adaptive equipment provided by the school, or continuous one-to-one support.
- Applicants who currently receive or have previously received special education services, accommodations, behavioral support plans, counseling supports within the school setting, or other individualized educational interventions may be asked to complete an Educational Support Addendum and provide relevant records for review.
- Admission decisions are based on an individualized assessment of whether the student’s needs can be reasonably met within the structure, staffing, and resources available through our program.
NOTE: Contact Your Pastor
Getting the counsel of your local pastor is integral to our counseling plan. The triage model of parents, church community and Victory Academy is essential to success. We encourage you to pause and take that step if you haven’t already.
